Fall is a great time to get your lawn back into shape or to maintain the beautiful lawn you already have! The longer your lawn looks green in the fall months, the better your lawn will look next spring!  AERATION helps your lawn by stimulating growth, breaking up compacted soil, allowing water, air and fertilizer to get down into the holes and   

provides a good environment for overseeding. DETHATCHING is recommended when your lawn becomes too thick or has lots of dead grass.  LAWN RENOVATION can make your existing lawn look brand new! The benefits of a late FALL FERTILIZATION in November is that it allow the turf to store the fertilizer and not use it.  The grass is not growing as fast which allows the storage for an early spring green up.  The longer your lawn looks green in the fall months, the better your lawn will look next spring! Remember to cut your lawn low for the last mowing of the season.

Spring & Fall is the Best Time to Improve Turf Density

Fall is a good time to apply a LIME TREATMENT.  Acidic soil contributes to weed growth, moss growing, and a change in your lawn’s overall color.  Crabgrass control is put down with 1st application in March or April and it controls crabgrass for 2 months.  When you have thin turf grass or poor density, it allows crabgrass to get into your lawn.  This is why you often find crabgrass along grass edges.
